Fiona Horsey

The British actress is currently starring in MTI Home Video's horror film "Twisted Sisters" (on DVD August 15th ) and will soon be seen in two additional horror films – "Frenzied," and "Love Sick, Sick Love" – all three by German filmmaker Wolfgang Büld.  After filming in the United Kingdom, Fiona returned to Bogotá, Colombia, to visit family.  While there, she was cast in the number one novella "Padres e Hijos" for the national channel Caracol.   The role is a bit different from her three feature films… playing the nun, "Sor Alma Michelsen!"– but given her striking beauty, we suspect that character will be undergoing some drastic changes in the coming months!

Horsey first began acting while in school – taking on the part of "Fagin" in Oliver Twist.   She studied drama at Queen Mary College of London and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.   Fiona appeared on U.K. television series, including the popular police series "The Bill," and the prison series "Bad Girls." She also performed in several national theatre tours, including "The Choice" with the Channel Theatre Group, and on stage at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the play "Lucky" by Eddie d' Oliveira. Apart form her 3 features with Wolfgang Buld, she has worked in numerous shorts such as "Smoked Butterly" and "Wake Up" both directed by Norwegian director Jorge Navarro Fica. In Bogota she filmed a short called "Historia de Ciudad" which was screened this week to massive crowds and she is lined up to do another at the end of August.
